Another one of those ideas I thought of, considered building a business around, realized it couldn't make any money, then found out someone else was doing. A fairly typical pattern in my life.
You can now get DMOZ searches and categories as XML/RSS feeds. This is nice because it makes it much easier to parse and include DMOZ data in your website without dealing with the large unwieldy files provided by DMOZ.
If only someone could come up with a way of eliminating DMOZ entirely using RSS so we weren't relying on the picky preferences of unknown editors.
