I'm really liking the CNet "Old School" section, they're keeping it real in an...um...uh...technology business information sort of way. If you're into math, there's a fun article on Bayesian probability theory, an 18th century discovery which basically makes predictions based on prior experience. This sounds logical, of course, but is the exact opposite of the way mathemeticians generally look at problems. What's really mind-bending, though, is the demonstration site on gametheory.net. Pop quiz: If you test positive for a deadly disease and the test is 95% accurate should you be worried? Think again...
