Just finished a pretty total redesign of the site. I'm going to focus much more on my professional interests moving forward, with less of the "cool stuff" listings. A guy's gotta eat, right?
Here's some highlights:
- Added "What I'm Reading" section on the right, mainly because I find it interesting to see what other people are reading. The obligatory Amazon linking is there as well; am looking forward to an early retirement with the affiliate revenues.
- Added topics for New Products and Usability.
- Removed topics for "Absurdities" and "New York City", there are plenty of other places for that sort of stuff.
- Kept the "Sites of the Moment" link list as an outlet for posting some random stuff.
- Upgraded to Movable Type 2.64 and the MySQL implementation, and used the MT Compare plugin (as if you care).
- Obviously, the new graphics and color scheme.

Well, I do like the new design, I don't like the mouse over effect on links. It disturbs while reading and changes the post format in an intrusive and not usable way.
Just my opinion, of course :-)
